Great house

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was perfect, so peaceful and like no where we have ever stayed. Those views out to the sea were unbeatable. Check in was easy. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We would definitely love to come back in the future.

The house was exactly as described, had everything we needed and was very comfortable and clean for all of us ( 6 adults and a small dog) It was the perfect location, being just out of town so walkable but not at all busy and noisy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to any family or friends. Thank you for a lovely stay in Whitby.

We booked last minute for a much needed change of scenery. The app provided with detailed video guides and recommendations was really helpful especially with the hob in the kitchen as I have never used that type before. Amanda responded to my queries via text extremely promptly and we received a lovely message welcoming us before we arrived. The house is beautiful and easy walking distance into Whitby, people with mobility issues need to consider the steep road. Little personal touches such as the welcome hamper and signs to leave on the unused beds (we only needed 3 of 5 rooms) really made the place stand out.

Overall, the place was nice and check-in was seamless. That said, we had two major issues. The dishwasher was broken, which meant hand-washing dishes for 10 people, and some loose nails on the living room transition strip unfortunately injured my child. Outside of those issues, everything else was fine, but the maintenance needs to be addressed for future guests.

A lovely seaside property, with amazing views over Scarborough Positive: A lovely house in the centre of Scarborough. The hosts were very attentive, giving easy to follow instructions and all round good communiction prior to and during the stay. The house is very charming with great facilities for 10 adults. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back! Negative: Nothing - all good
